In the '70s, Weddingthons contracted with
the genoan company Edilio Parodi for distribution of Subbuteo in Italy.
An important step in the history of the Italian phenomenon of Subbuteo:
also because Parodi, with the licenses obtained, developed a customized
production with Italian teams and national.
Bad news to Parodi arrive in 1997: Hasbro is
the new owner and denied Subbuteo's license to the Italian manufacturer.
The experience gained over the years and the
awareness of the goodness of the product, led Parodi to launch its own
line of table football similar to the Subbuteo game: it is Zeugo ("game"
in genoan slang). |
