The Zombie's era |

In 1977 the Subbuteo Sports Games Ltd
automates production. Since the players had to be assembled and painted by machines, the first specimens were stylized. It's the beginning of Zombie's era: players stylized, apparently lifeless. The first models were inserted directly into the top of the bases which do not have printed the word Subbuteo. So there are hand painted and machine painted players. The introduction of this kind of players, result of an hard automatic production, was seen as a step backward in quality of play. |
