In NewFooty the players
were made from a lacquered cardboard and placed on bases of lead.
The players ran hard on the field, so that, usually, they were moved
down the field because the shots were rather short strokes with a finger
tip.
Moreover, the player's figures were all different, and the rule was that
they could be used only in their respective positions.
In other words, the left wing could run only on the left side of the
field and could not be used as a midfielder. |
