What unites
the NewFooty and Subbuteo is the concept behind the game.
From the "little men" used to play: in Subbuteo, as in
NewFooty, the pieces that represented the players were
cardboard and were installed on hemispherical bases flat on
the bottom.
The men, with finger's tips, were pushed on the field with
the aim of hitting the ball, shifting it towards the door of
the opponent.
Obviously those who were in defence used a goalkeeper
(figurine with a rod attached to the back of the base)
controllable by the hand from behind the door and groped
with whom he could to save himself by the attacker's shots. |
