With the automation of production, Subbuteo moves its activity from Kent in Castle Gate, Outen, Leeds. It was 1982: on the boxes the company name changes from Subbuteo Sports Games Ltd. to Subbuteo Sports Games and after to Waddingtons Games Ltd company. It was the highest point of the english adventure. Between '83 and '87 Subbuteo rationalizes its products (rugby, cricket and hockey versions were deleted), the accessories and the number of teams: from 298 in 1986 dropped to 169 in 1987.
In the 90s the company acquired licenses to
mark the accessories like in football "modern": balls and fields. So
arrive Italy '90 and Premiership lines. |
